Birmingham (England), Aug 06 (ANI): Indian athlete Priyanka Goswami clinched a silver medal for the country after finishing at second position in the final of the women's 10,000 m race walk at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham on August 06. “I'm elated to have won the first medal in race walking in CWG for India. The one who won gold this time won gold in the last CWG too, but I'll try to win the next. Very proud that the national flag soared because of me,” she said while talking to ANI. “I dedicate my medal to my 'Laddoo Gopal' and my family,” she added. She clocked the timings of 43:38.00, her personal best. She was always in contention of a medal as she was in the first position initially.
