Chennai (Tamil Nadu), May 02 (ANI): Chennai Super Kings (CSK) thrashed Delhi Capitals (DC) by 80 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) game at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. While addressing the post match press conference skipper of Delhi Capitals Shreyas Iyer said, “We have seen him (Rishabh Pant) converting the starts into a match winning knock and definitely it was a ball to hit but, it just that he couldn’t convert it into the gap. So, it wasn’t a bad stroke to be honest as he could have played bit smart and access the pitch condition as how the spinners are going to work.” “We needed a bit of partnership at that point of time. Rishabh Pant could have changed the momentum of the game if he would have connected, if would have gone the stance. You need to give him a freebie because you can’t restrict his flow,” Iyer added.
