Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dec 04 (ANI): Following the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI)’s decision to not travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup next year, the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja announced that they would boycott the ODI World Cup if India refuses to travel to Pakistan. Former Pakistani Cricketer Mohammad Irfan on December 03 vocalised on the matter and said that Cricketers should not be involved in Politics. The statement came on India’s participation in Asia Cup 2023 in Abu Dhabi of UAE. Mohammad Irfan said, “Cricketers should not be involved in Politics. We must see Cricket as a sport. India should play in Pakistan and Pakistan should play in India. It increases the love among the people of both the countries. It will also benefit both of us as we can improvise our weakness.”
