Asian Games: India bags gold in women's 4 x 400m relay

New Delhi, Aug 31 (ANI): India’s team in Women's 4 x 400m Relay event won a gold medal at the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian Games. The team led by Hima Das comprised of Poovamma Raju Machettira, Saritaben Laxmanbhai Gayakwad and Velluva Koroth Vismaya. This is Hima's third medal at the ongoing games. Before this victory she won silver in women's 400m and a second-place finish in 4x400m mixed relay event. The team claimed the victory after completing the race within a clock timing of 3:28.72 in the final round.
