Asian Games 2018: Swapna Barman wins Gold in 2-day long Heptathlon event

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Swapna Barman won the Gold medal in the two-day long Heptathlon event at the ongoing 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday. Swapna aggregated a total of 6026 points at the end of all the seven events. China’s Wan Qingling scored 5954 to secure second spot. The heptathlon consists of seven events including 100m race, high jump, shot put, 200m race, long jump, javenlin throw and 800m race.
