Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 21 (ANI): Continuing India’s streak at the Asian Games 2018, Abhishek Verma’s bronze in men’s 10m Air Pistol is a moment of celebration. Speaking on his victory, Verma said, “I feel happy that I could do this for India. I feel great. I was a little nervous in the final but later I calmed down. I am happy with my performance.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the shooter on Twitter. His post read, “Congratulations to Abhishek Verma on winning his first medal at the @asiangames2018. India is proud of Abhishek for the Bronze in the 10m Air Pistol event. #AsianGames2018” Abhishek Verma settled for a bronze with a total tally of 219.3. Abhishek clinched bronze in the same event that 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary bagged Gold in. Abhishek Verma qualified in the sixth position. India’s total medal tally at the ongoing 18th edition of Asian Games now stands at seven with three golds, two silvers and two bronze medals.
