New Delhi, Aug 21 (ANI): India is shining at the Asian Games 2018 after winning medals in shooting. Congratulating the players and praising India’s performance at the games, Minister of State (Independent Charge) in Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said, “These players who won the medals were chosen by us under Target Olympic Podium scheme. They were being fully trained and given all facilities under this scheme. I congratulate all of them for successfully implementing their training. I also thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing revolution in sports in India, through ‘Khelo India’. We have started preparations for the next Olympics. The kind of environment that is prevailing in the country has boosted confidence that our players can do well.” Indian shooter Saurabh Chaudhary bagged a gold medal in the 10m air pistol event here today. Abhishek Verma claimed the third position with a total score of 219.3 points.
