Asian Games 2018: Rajyavardhan Rathore attends sending off ceremony

New Delhi, Aug 10 (ANI): Union Minister of State (I/C) for Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore participated in the sending off ceremony for the Indian Contingent for the 18th Asian Games to be held in Jakarta. The Minister wished the players to do their best in the games and showed confidence of winning. The Indian Olympic Association is sending contingent of over 800 members including 572 athletes who would be competing in 36 sports in Indonesia. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore along with the Olympic contingent showed victory sign. He said, “We have wished the players so that they do not worry about the results and whatever hard work they have done, they should perform accordingly. We have a big responsibility. We want that the players give their best performance. Our wishes are with them.” Shooter Anish Bhanwala said, “There is difference of competition between Asian Games and Olympic Games. I have focus on myself that I should do my best. I am very happy that I am getting a chance to represent at Asian Games and I am working hard so that I can use this chance fully.” The Asian Games will be held from August 18 to September 02 in Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia.
