Asian Games 2018: Jinson Johnson wins silver in men’s 800 m

Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 28 (ANI): Jinson Johnson clinched the silver medal in men’s 800 m event at the ongoing Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia on Tuesday. The contest was close as Manjit clocked 1:46:15 to finish first while Jinson clocked 1:46:35 just behind him to confirm the second spot. Abubaker Haydar Abdalla of Qatar took the bronze. India now has ten medals in the athletics events with three golds and seven silvers.
