Asian Games 2018: Got medal for our hard work, says Men’s 4 x 400m relay team on winning silver

Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 31 (ANI): India’s men's 4 X 400m Relay team that won silver medal at the ongoing 18th Asian Games credited hard work for the achievement. One of the team player, Ayyasamy Dharun said, “I'm very happy. We were aiming for gold but couldn't win it. But it was our first time so we're happy with our performance. Sports Minister and Sports Federation supported us. For more than six months, we were preparing for Asian Games only. We went for training in three countries. We got a medal for our hard work.” Another team member, Arokia Rajiv said, “The team had good spirit. We did really well in our practice session that is why we achieved this success here.” The team comprised of Kunhu Muhammed, Dharunn Ayyasamy, Mohammad Anas and Arokia Rajiv which clocked 3:01.85 minutes.
