3 Jalandhar girls to participate in FIFA WC 2018

Jalandhar (Punjab), Jun 19 (ANI): Three girls, who are associated with Youth Football Club Rurka Kalan, have been selected as Youth Ambassadors and Facilitator from Asia for FIFA World Cup 2018. Sonia Rani and Baljinder Kaur will participate in the World Cup as Youth Ambassadors while Jaspreet Kaur will be the only Facilitator from Asia. Sonia Rani said, “I am very happy that I got selected. In April an offer came wanting girls for FIFA happening in Russia. We were selected through an interview on Skype. I was told that we will be going for FIFA World Cup where we will work as a leader for sports for development.” Expressing her happiness, Jaspreet Kaur said, “I felt very happy and proud when I found out that I was chosen for FIFA World Cup.”
