Auto rickshaw driver who brought injured Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati hospital speaks for first time

Mumbai, Jan 17 (ANI): Auto-rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana (who drove actor Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati hospital after the attack) spoke to ANI on January 17 and said, “I drive at night. Around 2-3 am, I saw a woman calling for an auto...I could also hear voices from inside the gate for a rickshaw. When I took a U-turn and stopped my vehicle at the gate, a man covered in blood came out. There were 2-4 more people with him. They made him sit in the auto...they asked us to go to Lilavati. I dropped him there...then I realised it was Saif Ali Khan...I saw blood was oozing from his neck and back.” Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder in his 11th-floor Bandra flat in the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred when an intruder allegedly confronted the actor's maid at his residence. As Saif attempted to intervene and de-escalate the situation, it escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in the actor sustaining several stab wounds. Saif underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital under the supervision of a team of doctors.
