New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): Three days after receiving severe backlash for her article on Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the writer of The Cut, an American magazine, apologised to the newly-weds. The article, which was published days back, sparked rage across social media, after it called Priyanka a 'global scam artist' and accused her of 'defrauding' Nick into a relationship. The writer also wrote in her article that PeeCee married Nick to get a foothold in Hollywood. Taking to Twitter, Mariah Smith (writer) took full responsibility of the article and wrote an apology to the couple and the readers. "I want to sincerely apologise to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and to the readers I offended and hurt with my words. I do not condone racism, xenophobia, or sexism. I take full responsibility for what I wrote and I was wrong, I am truly sorry."
