Working on environmental friendly sanitary napkins: Manushi Chillar

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Jun 17 (ANI): Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar has been engaged in a new campaign. She is working on promoting environment friendly sanitary napkins, and raising awareness on menstruation. “In our recent plan of action we are focusing on compostable and biodegradable sanitary pads. I have seen this for the first time in Kolkata, how people use jute as a sanitary pad. Quality wise it is not very different and it is also not harmful for the environment,” said Manushi Chillar.
