Watch: Veteran actress Rekha honoured with Smita Patil Memorial Award

Mumbai, Dec 17 (ANI): Veteran actress Rekha on Saturday was honoured with the first edition of Smita Patil Memorial Award. Music composer Anandji Virji Shah presented the award to the actress. Addressing the award function, Rekha remembered the late actress Smita Patil and said she was a ‘far better actress than her and than anybody else’. The award was given in honour of late actress Smita Patil, who lost her battle with life at a very young age of 31. Her son Prateik Babbar was also present at the ceremony. Rekha and Prateik also shared some heart-warming moments on the stage. Actress Amruta Subhash was also honored with Smita Patil Memorial special Award for her contribution to Indian Cinema.
