Watch: Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor wrapped in tricolour for last rites, gets three-gun salute

Mumbai, Dec 05 (ANI): Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor, who passed away on Monday evening, was cremated with a three-gun salute in the presence of his family and the film fraternity on Tuesday. The late legendary actor was given a state funeral amid massive security. About a dozen policemen wrapped the actor's body in the tricolour, which was later removed for the rituals. The cremation ceremony also saw policemen going down on their knees to show respect to Shashi Kapoor. Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salim Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Saif Ali Khan and Suresh Oberoi among others were present at the cremation.
