Mumbai (Maharashtra), Oct 23 (ANI): B-Town celebrities bid adieu to actress Rani Mukerji’s father, Ram Mukherjee. Ram Mukherjee, noted filmmaker of Bengali and Hindi cinema, was cremated at the Hindu Smashan Bhoomi, Shree Vile Parle Seva Samaj Chowk in Mumbai. Ram Mukherjee breathed his last on Sunday morning. He was 84. One of the founder members of Filmalaya studios, he is well known for his films - Hum Hindustani and Leader, starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala. His wife Krishna is a playback singer and their son Raja is a director.
