New Delhi, Jul 26 (ANI): ‘Narcos’ star Wagner Moura is all set to play the role of a top UN diplomat in an upcoming Netflix biopic. The 42-year actor will be seen in the role of Brazil-born diplomat, Sergio Vieira de Mello. Vieira de Mello branded as a "crisis junkie" who was killed in a hotel bombing by Al-Qaida in Iraq in 2003, the plotline of the movie is set hours after the attack at Baghdad’s Canal Hotel, where a top diplomat lies buried under the debris. The biopic also stars Ana De Armas, Garret Dillahunt, Clemens Schick and Brían F. O'Byrne. The film marks the narrative debut of Greg Barker, the documentary filmmaker behind Manhunt: The Inside Story of the Hunt for Bin Laden and The Final Year. The film will be produced by Moura, along with Brent Travers of Black Rabbit Media and Daniel Dreifuss of Anima Pictures. The movie is due to begin production in August, with a release scheduled for 2019.
