Vivek Oberoi to play PM Modi in biopic

New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): Even as the controversy around ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ has not died, the country will get to see one more political biopic, and this time it is the incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose role will be portrayed by none other than Vivek Oberoi. The film titled ‘PM Narendra Modi, will be directed by Omung Kumar, who in the past has helmed biopics like Mary Kom and Sarbjit. Film critic Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Twitter account. "IT'S OFFICIAL... Vivekanand Oberoi [Vivek Oberoi] to star in Narendra Modi biopic, titled #PMNarendraModi... Directed by Omung Kumar… Produced by Sandeep Singh... First look poster will be launched on 7 Jan 2019... Filming starts mid-Jan 2019," his tweet read. While the shooting will start in Mid-January, the makers have decided to release the first look of the film on January 7.
