Vishwaroopam 2: Kamal Haasan fans celebrate movie’s release with zeal

Chennai (TN), Aug 10 (ANI): The sequel of Kamal Haasan’s 2013 blockbuster spy-thriller ‘Vishwaroopam’ hit the big screens today. The ‘Vishwaroopam’ series is the brain child of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan. Haasan’s fans celebrated the release of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ by busting firecrackers, dancing and playing drums. Some fans were also seen worshipping the cutouts of the 63-year-old actor and offering milk to it as a way of showing respect. ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is a spy thriller, featuring Haasan as a super agent. The film is packed with a lot of nail-biting action sequences. The flick’s trailer garnered immense appreciation after its release in June. It also stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Shekhar Kapur. Written, directed, and produced by Haasan himself, the film has been shot in two languages, Hindi and Tamil and is also being dubbed in Telugu.
