New Delhi, Apr 01 (ANI): Famous for his comic and action roles, ‘Dishoom’ actor Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in a serious role in upcoming film ‘October’. Fans had been wondering what made the director Shoojit Sircar cast Dhawan in the lead role despite his contradictory image. Speaking on the same, the director and producer told exclusively to ANI that the 30-year-old actor was chosen to portray the lead character (Dan) purely because of his innocence. Co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, the film also stars Banita Sandhu and is slated to release on April 13.
