‘Thugs of Hindostan’ enters 100 crore club

New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ entered the 100 crore club despite witnessing a downfall on its third day. The film has not garnered a lot of appreciation from the critics and has received poor reviews. The movie’s content was also rejected by the audience. On its opening day, the action-adventure film had witnessed a massive box office opening of Rs 52.25 crore and had shattered many box office records. However on the second day, it saw a major drop and failed to maintain the numbers. ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’. The film which features Fatima Sana Sheikh, Katrina Kaif, and Jackie Shroff released on November 8th.
