Mumbai, Jan 21 (ANI): Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is playing the role of Shiv Sena patriarch Bal Thackeray, said ‘Thackeray’ is not “politically motivated” and the film’s release, which coincides with the general elections, is just a coincidence. “We have shown reality in this film and it is being released on January 25 because it is his (Thackeray’s) birthday week. We are screening the film on 23rd. Balasaheb doesn’t need election season. Whenever you release the film, it will remain the same,” the ‘Sacred Games’ star told ANI.
