Taron Egerton shares about his transformation process for ‘Rocketman’

New Delhi, May 30 (ANI): Besides a spectacular performance in the movie 'Rocketman', British star Taron Egerton underwent a lot of transformation and sacrifice to portray the character 'Elton John'. Tarron shared his special moments from the film and his experience of transforming into the 72-year-old icon. The actor described the whole process of transformation as exciting and full of enjoyment. It is being reported that Egerton did not enjoy a major part of the hair and makeup, but the process of getting his hairline shaved helped him in getting into character. The British star had also stated that to get perfection in something one need to bear some pain as it is the core element of art. The actor also revealed that Elton let him read his diary to get into the character better and it was fun to go through it. According to Taron, he is an example of what the diary entries are like and described they were very economically written. 'Rocketman' is the musical rendition of the iconic singer's breakthrough years. Directed by Dexter Fletcher, Lee Hall has penned the screenplay of the epic musical. 'Rocketman' was screened at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.
