‘Sui Dhaaga’ logo designed in 15 different styles to honor artists

New Delhi, Aug 07 (ANI): To highlight the rich and diverse handicrafts of the country, the team of upcoming B-town movie ‘Sui Dhaaga- Made In India’ searched every corner of country and found local artisans and craftsmen to create the logo of the film in their unique stitching styles. It is probably the first time that a logo of a Bollywood movie has been made by artisans. ‘Sui Dhaaga’ team reached out to 15 uniquely skilled artists and artist groups across the lengths and breadths of country to design a unique logo. It took six months efforts of planning, researching and executing the movie’s logo and 15 different styles have been chosen to celebrate country’s diversity and entrepreneur spirit. Yash Raj Films have chosen National Handloom Day to release ‘Sui Dhaaga’ logo. The day celebrates the magnificence of Indian handloom the world over. Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer movie’s plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the hugely acclaimed ‘Make In India’ campaign. While Varun plays the role of a tailor, Anushka plays an embroiderer in the film. The movie is directed by Sharat Kataria and produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films is all set to hit the big screens on September 28 this year, just before Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
