Sridevi’s death: Madhur Bhandarkar thought it was a hoax, Anu Kapoor, Adil Hussain shocked by the uneven death

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): The sudden death of Bollywood actress Sridevi came in as a shock to the whole nation. She was in Dubai attending a family wedding with her younger daughter and husband and suddenly the news broke about her death due to cardiac arrest. Reacting on the matter, Bollywood Director Madhur Bhandarkar said, “First I thought it’s a hoax, later many channels confirmed it and it was shocking for us. It’s a big loss for the film industry, for the country and her fans. She was very versatile actress who was a great dancer. She has done countless films of variety. It’s really sad to know something like this.” Bollywood actor Annu Kapoor told ANI,” The whole country is shocked by her death. We want to know under what circumstances this occurred. I heard that Amitabh ji and tweeted something a few hours before her death. This is a big loss for the industry.”Adil Hussain who shared the screen space with Sridevi in ‘English Vinglish’ said,” I still find it unbelievable. There was no news of her being ill, and suddenly when I read an SMS from a friend confirming the news, I was in shock.”
