Shahid Kapoor finally opens up on Swara Bhasker's open letter on 'Padmaavat'

Mumbai, (Maharashtra) Jan 30, (ANI): After various controversies, 'Padmaavat' finally managed to release in theatres. While various people from the Hindi Film Industry showed their support, Swara Bhasker wasn't really impressed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus. Shahid Kapoor, who essayed the role of a Rajput king in the movie, expressed his view over the ongoing controversy which sparked the nation once again, when Swara Bhasker in an open letter slammed Sanjay Leela Bhansali for glorifying jauhar in his period drama. "Women have the right to live independent of whether men are living or not," she wrote.
