New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): Cancer patient Aruna PK, who wished to meet Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan before she succumbed to the disease, breathed her last today. Aruna was diagnosed with third stage ovarian cancer in February 2011 and blood cancer in July 2017. The ardent SRK’s fan was battling with cancer for past six years. Soon after her death, the 'Raees' star took to his Twitter handle to pay his condolences to the family. He tweeted, “May Allah give u strength to deal with the loss of your beautiful mother. I know how sad it is to deal with the loss of a parent. Know that she is always with you and henceforth do things that give her reasons to smile in heaven.” Aruna's son Akshat Khot thanked SRK for the heartwarming message and wrote, "Thank You @iamsrk for giving her happiness in her final moments." Akshat had shared the news of his mother demise on the micro-blogging site. Shah Rukh had earlier sent across a video message to Aruna after she expressed her wish to meet him. Well, unfortunately Aruna’s last wish of meeting the star could not be fulfilled!
