Shah Rukh Khan teams up with Netflix for spy thriller 'Bard of Blood'

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and online streaming platform Netflix have partnered to bring an espionage thriller 'Bard of Blood' to over 100 million users of the platform. The series is based on the book of the same name by Bilal Siddiqi and revolves around an expelled spy Kabir Anand who is called back into action "to save his country and long-lost love." As per the Hollywood reporter, the eight-episode series, which will be streamed worldwide, will feature dialogues in Hindi, Urdu, English and other languages. The drama will be produced by Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainment. It is being said that Netflix had signed a film output deal with Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainment in February this year and this series will be part of the original content produced under this deal.
