Salman Khan tops 2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list for second consecutive year

New Delhi, Dec 22 (ANI): The 'Sultan of Bollywood' Salman Khan has yet again grabbed the top spot in Forbes India Celebrity 100 list for the second consecutive year. The 51-year-old actor earned Rs 232.83 crore in 2017, backed by endorsements of several consumer-facing brands. As per Forbes report, his earnings in fact constitute 8.67 percent of the total earnings, Rs 2,683 crore of the top 100 celebrities for the year. The 'King of Romance' Shah Rukh Khan retained his second rank, with earnings Rs 170.5 crore. Indian skipper Virat Kohli came in at number three with earnings of Rs 100.72 crore in 2017. Akshay Kumar and Former Indian Batsman Sachin Tendulkar rounded the top 5 spot with earnings of Rs 98.25 crore and Rs 82.50 crore, respectively. The 2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List rankings are based on estimates of entertainment related earnings of celebrities.
