Salma Hayek donates USD 100,000 to Mexico earthquake victims

New Delhi, Sep 21 (ANI): Hollywood actress Salma Hayek has lent support to Mexico's earthquake victims by donating USD 100,000 to UNICEF. In a video posted on her Instagram, the 51-year-old actress has urged her fans to join her in aiding families affected by Mexico earthquake. In the video, Hayek recalled that after the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City, she was evacuated from her building. A lot of her friends died, including an uncle that was very close to her. For the unversed, more than 200 people have reportedly been killed in the powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.1 on Richter scale that struck Mexico on Tuesday. Several buildings in Mexico City were severely damaged and thousands of people were seen running from the office buildings.
