Russia appoints actor Steven Seagal as special envoy to US

New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): Russian Government has appointed Hollywood action star Steven Seagal as special envoy to United States for humanitarian ties. The move was announced by Russia’s Foreign Ministry. Seagal, famous for his action packed movies, will now facilitate ties between the two countries in the fields of Culture, arts, public and youth exchanges. An accomplished martial artist, Steven Seagal was granted Russian citizenship in 2016. He is also known for his constant support of Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s policies.
