‘Roma’, ‘The Favourite’ lead 2019 Oscars race with 10 nominations each

New Delhi, Jan 23 (ANI): The nominations for the 91st Academy Awards have been announced by actors Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross. ‘Roma’ and ‘The Favourite’ were nominated in 10 categories each. ‘Black Panther’ became first-ever superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture. Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Rami Malek among others led the Best Actor category. Lady Gaga, Melissa McCarthy among others led the Best Actress category. ‘Roma’ actress Yalitza Aparicio, too, was nominated for Best Actress. Alfonso Cuarón and Spike Lee were nominated for Best Director for their respective work in ‘Roma’ and 'BlacKkKlansman'.
