Ranveer Singh to play a Gujarati in YRF’s next ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Ranveer Singh after his blockbuster performances in movies like ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Gully Boy’ is all set to impress the audience with his upcoming film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. He will be essaying the role of a Gujarati man. Ranveer summed up the movie in his words as a film with a big heart, be it in concept or in its appeal. The actor will now be seen working with debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar and has recognized this exceptionally talented director. Ranveer announced that Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be his next release after 83. Yash Raj Film's homegrown producer Maneesh Sharma also expressed his confidence in the director. The makers will begin shooting for 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' from this October. Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up for his upcoming film '83', based on the life of ace cricketer Kapil Dev. Alongside Ranveer, the film will star R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar as the Men in Blue. The film will receive direction from Kabir Khan while Madhu Mantena, Vishu Induri, Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala will serve as the producers. Releasing next year, the film will hit the big screens on April 10.
