Ranveer, Deepika ‘overwhelmed’ by ‘Padmaavat’ response

New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are overwhelmed with reactions to their performances in ‘Padmaavat’. The ‘Bajirao of Bollywood’ took to Twitter and expressed his gratitude to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for giving "him a gift of a character." The actor shared a lengthy thank you note, saying he is overwhelmed and couldn't thank Bhansali enough for “helping him become an artist that he is today.” Meanwhile, Deepika during HT Stylish awards, said she is an extremely overwhelming and happy to see the reactions she is getting for her performance in Bhansali’s magnum opus. The 32-year-old actor is garnering lot of praise for her portrayal of Rani Padmavati in the movie, while Ranveer is receiving acclaim for his portrayal of Alauddin Khilji.
