New Delhi, Jun 08 (ANI): Disney-owned ABC network apologised on Friday after one of the episodes of Priyanka Chopra starrer Quantico showed Indians as terrorists in a scene. The scene was from ‘The Blood of Romeo’, where Indian MIT professor pretending to be a Pakistani national plans a nuclear attack on New York. Social media was outraged with the scene and actress Priyanka Chopra faced flak with agitated comments and tweets. “ABC Studios and the executive producers of Quantico would like to extend an apology to our audience who were offended by the most recent episode”, wrote ABC. Defending the actress, ABC added “The episode has stirred a lot of emotion, much of which is unfairly aimed at Priyanka Chopra, who didn’t create the show, nor does she write or direct it”. Priyanka Chopra plays the character of Alex Parrish in the series.
