Priyanka Chopra ‘taken’, shares picture with fiancé

New Delhi, Aug 18 (ANI): In a moment of ecstatic revelation for her fans across the world, 36-year-old actress Priyanka Chopra announced her engagement with beau Nick Jonas on Saturday. The announcement came after much speculation amongst domestic and international media. Both posted a picture from the function, looking lovingly at each other. Priyanks’s post read, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul..”, whereas Nick Jonas’ post read, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.” Guests had been gathering outside the Chopra residence in Mumbai for a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony of the two lovebirds. Inside pictures from the event, Nick and Priyanka were seen in traditional attire performing puja with Nick’s parents overlooking the two. Priyanka wore a lime yellow traditional suit from designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Nick donned a white kurta-churidaar outfit for the event. Nick Jonas had apparently popped the question on Priyanka’s birthday on Jul 18 in London. Those who arrived at the party include sister and actress Parineeti Chopra, choreographer Mustaq Khan. Bollywood stars such as Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Raveena Tandon, among others, are expected to attend the engagement bash this evening.
