New York (United States), Aug 24 (ANI): While addressing the press conference in New York on August 22, Spokesperson for Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric spoke on United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra’s tweet row. He said to media, “When Goodwill Ambassadors speak on behalf of UNICEF, we expect them to adhere to UNICEF’s evidence-based impartial positions.” “When UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors speak in their personal capacity, they retain the right to speak about issues that interest or concern them. But their personal views don’t reflect agencies they maybe affiliated with,” Dujarric added.
