New Delhi, Nov 09 (ANI): Amid the ongoing 'Padmavati' controversy, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has come out in the support of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Reacting to Bhansali's recent video message, Arjun has urged people to trust the filmmaker's vision. The 'Mubarakan' star retweeted Bhansali's post and wrote alongside, "Yet again a man has to justify creativity because politics and propaganda creates an ugly environment. He's a fantastic filmmaker his vision must be trusted. I'm sure Rani Padmavati and her story will be depicted with respect by him and @RanveerOfficial @deepikapadukone @shahidkapoor.” The 54-year-old filmmaker, on Wednesday, cleared the air over rumoured romantic scene between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji in his magnum opus 'Padmavati', saying there is no such sequence in the film. The period drama, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, has been facing protests from various communal groups, including Shree Rajput Karni Sena, for allegedly tampering historical facts. The movie, which is slated to release on December 1, has been embroiled in a spate of controversies ever since its inception.
