Gurugram (Haryana), Jan 18 (ANI): Rajput community leader Suraj Pal Amu on Thursday slammed the Supreme Court order to stay the ban on the release of 'Padmaavat', saying he would continue protesting against the film. While talking to ANI, he said the Supreme Court’s verdict has hurt the feelings of Hindus, adding, he will continue to protest against the film even if “he is hanged”. He further added, the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial flick will “divide the nation.” Meanwhile, members of the Rajput community in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur have threatened to burn down the cinema halls that would screen the film. The Supreme Court on Thursday, stayed notifications issued by four states, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat to ban the release of ‘Padmaavat’.
