‘Pad Man’ is not a preachy film, not a documentary: R. Balki

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Feb 10 (ANI): Director R. Balki’s ‘Pad Man’ starring Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor, has taken over B-town like a storm. Nearly everyone is taking the #PadManChallenge and there have been open discussions on menstruation and hygiene etc. The director does not expect an overnight change to occur after the release of his film, but hopes that the film normalises the concept of periods, which is just a basic biology.
