Nobel Prize-winning novelist VS Naipaul dies at 85

New Delhi, Aug 12 (ANI): Trinidad born Nobel Prize-winning novelist VS Naipaul died at his London residence at the age of 85. Naipaul wrote over 30 books and he was conferred the Nobel Prize in literature for his masterpiece ‘The Enigma of Arrival’. His first book ‘The Mystic Masseur’ and ‘A House for Mr Biswas’ amassed him massive popularity worldwide. President Ram Nath Kovind paid his respect to Caribbean writer of Hindu descent on his sudden demise. Eminent author Salman Rushdie also took to twitter to pay condolences.
