Nicole Maines to be television's first transgender superhero

New Delhi, Jul 22 (ANI): American actress Nicole Maines is set to make history on the fourth season of 'Supergirl' by becoming the first ever transgender superhero on television. "I haven't really wrapped my head around it," Maines told TV exec editor Debra Birnbaum at Variety's Comic-Con Studio. "It feels fitting to say with great power, comes great responsibility," she added. Nicole also made a guest appearance, as a transgender teen, in an episode of the USA Network TV drama Royal Pains.
