Nicki Minaj on board for ‘Angry Birds’ sequel

New Delhi, Dec 25 (ANI): American rapper Nicki Minaj has decided to lend her voice in the much awaited sequel of ‘Angry Birds Movie’. The 36-year-old star will voice an unspecified character in the movie ‘Angry Birds Movie 2’. Minaj has previously given her voice for ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’. Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage will be seen reprising their roles. There is news that Leslie Jones will lend her voice for the movie’s villain. The sequel will be directed by by Thurop Van Orman and John Rice, while John Cohen will produce the film. ‘Angry Birds Movie’, directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, was set on an island entirely populated by happy, flightless birds.
