New Delhi, Nov 04 (ANI): Streaming network Netflix has dropped Kevin Spacey from 'House of Cards' and will no longer work with the actor in any capacity due to ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Spacey's behaviour on the set of 'House of Cards'. In a statement, Netflix's spokesperson said, "Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film 'Gore', which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey." Netflix also released a new statement saying the actor had been suspended from the series."While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey's behaviour on the set of House of Cards, he has been suspended, effective immediately," the statement read. This development comes hours after it was reported that Netflix producers are considering killing off Spacey's House of Cards character in the show's sixth and final season. Kevin Spacey, who has been accused of inappropriate sexual behaviour, is also an executive producer on the series.
