Michael Jackson’s musical heading to Broadway

New Delhi, Jun 20 (ANI): A new musical based on the life of prominent singer Michael Jackson is coming to Broadway in 2020. The Michael Jackson Estate and Columbia Live Stage made the announcement yesterday that the show will present the biggest hits from Jackson's catalogue. The show will feature Jackson's own songs to tell the story of his life. The story of the yet to be titled show will be written by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and directed and choreographed by Tony-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon. The King of Pop died in 2009 at age 50 from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol and sedatives.
