Mumbai, Dec 20 (ANI): Addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding Salman Khan's highly-awaited film 'Tiger Zinda Hai', the former chief of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Pahlaj Nihalani, on Wednesday said that Marathi films should be given prime time slot. While talking to ANI, he asserted that as per Maharashtra rule, multiplexes should give Marathi films prime time slot. 'Tiger Zinda Hai' has been embroiled in a political controversy after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has threatened to protest against cinema owners, who give preference to Salman Khan-starrer movie over Marathi film 'Deva'. The Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Sena (MNCS) has warned cinema owners against booking all shows for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and denying slots to Marathi films.
