New Delhi, Aug 21 (ANI): Item-number queen Malaika Arora Khan shared a nostalgia-inducing still from the iconic number ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’, marking 20 years of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se’. ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ was the Hindi version of award winning music director AR Rahman’s ‘Thayya Thayya’. It became an overnight hit in 1998 and has managed to retain its freshness over the years. A mix of Sukhwinder Singh’s energetic voice, Shah Rukh Khan’s boyish charm, Malaika’s floor breaking dance moves and choreographer Farah Khan’s decision to shoot the song on top of a moving train, made the song a masterpiece. The song was even featured as one of the top 10 songs of all time in an international poll conducted by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
