‘Land of the Giants’ actress Deanna Lund passes away

New Delhi, Jun 26 (ANI): Deanna Lund, who starred in the late-‘60s sci-fi series ‘Land of the Giants’ died at the age of 81. Lund died of pancreatic cancer at her home in Century City. She was diagnosed in September. On the 1960s ABC series ‘Land of the Giants’, she played one of the seven castaways trying to survive in a world of large, unfriendly people. She was also a part of the films ‘Johnny Tiger’, ‘Tony Rome’ and ‘Batman’. Later, Lund worked on TV series like ‘Love, American Style’, ‘The Waltons’ and ‘General Hospital’, along with movies, ‘Hustle’, ‘Hardly Working’, ‘The Incredible Hulk’ and ‘Transylvania Twist’. Lund also wrote a 1992 novella, ‘Valerie in Giantland’, based on ‘Land of the Giants’ but set 10 years later.
