New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): History repeated itself when Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore the Lover’s Knot Tiara, which was previously worn by Princess Diana. On October 23, Middleton wore the famous Tiara when she attended the state dinner at Buckingham Palace. She also wore an icy blue Alexander McQueen gown. Alongside the Tiara and the gown, the Duchess wore Queen Alexandra of Denmark’s wedding necklace and the royal family order. The Duchess wore the tiara for the first time back in 2015 during a Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace. The jewellery which is also known as the Cambridge Lover’s Knot was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II’s grandmother, Queen Mary in 1914. The Duchess was accompanied by her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.
